Historic rainfalls and floods in August left many homeless but locals were incredibly giving during this time according to Julie. The Denham Springs Animal Shelter was hit with flooding too and they've lost everything. Luckily, they were able to save most cats and dogs but the rebuild process will take time. This shelter is the only no kill shelter in the area. Julie nominated the shelter and we were able to donate this week. We hope the Pro5 steam cleaner will be will become part of their care and maintenance routine. Cleaning agents are large expense which can be minimized greatly with a steam cleaner.
